Norwegians in Alabama Service

I'm looking for any and all Norwegians who served in Alabama units, by name and unit, with any biographical information that might be available. (Also would be interested in Confederate naval service.) I would assume that most Norwegians would have been recruited out of Mobile, but any such individual, regardless of where recruited, would be of interest, whether brand new immigrant, or settled pioneer.
