I am of Waddell/Ray descent and believe I might be related to J.F.Waddell of the Alabama Battery, but can't seem to connect for sure. Also, my great-grandfather Nelson Ray was in Co.A, 50th regiment from North Carolina. He enlisted in Person Co.N.C. Can you tell me how to find the leads I need?
