Thanks very much for the confirmation. I thought that was a possibilty since his older brother Isaac enlisted there, but, with the exception of my Grandfather, the family appears to have wound up in Alabama in later life. I also received confirmation from a previously unknown relative in Texas whom springs from another brother of the family.
