The compiled service records for Marshal Dyson; pvt.; Co. H; 22nd Regt. Inf.can be obtained through the Mississippi Department of Archives and Records. They are online. Grady Howell's works shown him at the rank of Pvt., but another source shows him a sergeant. If you are near Atlanta or some other office of the National Archives Check out Box, Roll and Number 000232, 0011, 00003277 for Marshal Dyson.
