I have a book dated l864 "Military Surgery" for the use of surgeons in the Confederate States Army. It is signed by a E.W. Smith, Mobile, Ala. Oct. l864. We found it in an old run down house in Victoria, Texas in the late 70's. Anyone out there able to give me any info on the book and the person who signed the book?? Thanks...Betty Forester....
