Eddie,

According to Grady Howell's Listing of all known Confederate Soldiers, Sailors and Marines from Mississippi, William Joslin was a private in Co. K of the 2nd MS. Another sourse gave me his National Archives Box, Roll and Numbers as 000232, 0022, 00000268. If you are near a National Archives Office Atlanta, KC, Dallas, Washington, etc. this number may speed up your search. His Compiled service records can also be obtained from the Miss. Department of Archives and History in Jackson. Sometimes these records give a good deal of information.

R. B. (Ruben B.) Joslyn, pvt. is listed, in another source with 2(Rodeey's) Al Cav. Misc. Morelands Al. Cav. No National Archives #s

George Joslyn, pvt. 4(Roddey's) Al. Cav. Misc MOreland's Regst Al. Cav. NA #s 000374, 0024, 00000404.
I find two George listings in the same unit. Possibly the same person but two records the other one is 000374, 0024, 00000403.

These records can be obtained from the National Archives or The State Archives in Mont. or possibly at the B'ham Library.

Good luck
