I have found 2 ancestors that are buried at Camp Chase prison and cemetery in Ohio. They are listed as Rencher, W. PVT 24 FEB 1865 C 1AL REG and Williams, R. PVT 23 FEB 1865 C 7AL CAV. They were living in either Greene Co or Butler Co during the time. I can't seem to find much info on either regiment, or rosters to verify this information. Any help on the 7th AL, history, campaigns, and obviously captures of this regiment would be most appreciated. I am trying to verify that these are my relatives. I have searched pensions records, no luck. Thanks in advance.
