"A" Joneses from Alabama

From the Broadfoot Roster of Confederate Soldiers here are the "A" Joneses from Alabama. This list is "not" conclusive as many people believe the Broadfoot Roster which comes from the NARA compiled service records is probably only about 80% complete for Confederate personnel.

Unfortunately, the name "Jones" is a tough one. I have an ancestor from the Chattanooga area who was a "William" Jones and you can imagine how many there are.

I hope this gives you a starting point.
