Are you confident that he was in the 11th Al Inf.? I find a William S. Parker in 11th Al. Cavalry. He was a private in Baxter's Battn. National Archives Box Roll and Number: 000374, 0034, 00003328. Several other William S. Parker listings from other Al units can also be found, but none in the 11th Al. Inf. My records are by no means complete and I could have overlooked him. If this is the person you are looking for, his compiled service records can be acquired from the National Archives or the Al Dept. Of Archives and History. If you live near a National Archives branch (Atlanta, KC, etc.) and wish to make a personal visit, these numbers may be useful in your search.
