There should be a Wm N Davis listed with the 7th Cav. He was later known as Col Davis.. also buried at Mount Paran Cemetery,New Market. I Believe he, along with John Logan Pitcock and Wm Logan Pitcock were with the 7th Cav. Davis may have assumed his title due to his involvement with the KKK.
