Fort Rose in Lawrence County, AL

Although it is apparently very little known, there was a Yankee fort in Lawrence County known as Fort Rose. I am seeking any info on same. While its exact location is unknown, (other than Northern Lawrence Co.) there is the possibility that the expressway being planned across North AL will destroy whatever traces remain.
