An interesting company! If you or anyone else happens to know about this command, I have a few questions:
1) What (if any) relationship did this company have with the 2nd Alabama between the time it organized (Apr. 14, 1861) and the time members enrolled in Confederate service?
2) Does Captain George M. Bonner appear on the roll you have? What became of him?
3) How did Captain Edmund H. McDonald managed to become involved with the Confederate defense of Fort Donelson?
Who was Pope Walker
