I am seeking info on a J. Durant (possibly Joseph Durant) of the 23rd AL Inf Co. I (?), from Baldwin Co. AL. We have ordered the records, but would like to know if anyone has any info about this person, and whether or not he survived the war. Also, how do I gain access to the Broadfoot Roster of Confederate Soldiers? Thanks for the info. CMTshel@AOL.com
