Got a message from David Walsh, as follows:

"Is there still an old jail at Tuscumbia? And possibly records of men interned there in the CW? I seek info on a daring rescue by Confed. Cav. of my Gr-granddad, a confed. cav. trooper who'd been jailed there on order of a
union Gnl. and brigade commander - John Basil Tulchin - who'd ordered him (Amos R. Taylor) shot as a spy."
