Tod Molesworth
Abner B. Knight-Co. H, 11th Alabama
Sat Apr 21 14:51:53 2001
I have records of Pvt. Abner B. Knight of Co. K, 26th Alabama who transferred to Co. H, 11th Alabama in March, 1863. He was captured at Ft. Donelson as member of Co. C, 3rd Alabama Battalion on February 16, 1862. This is what the 26th Alabama was called until March, 1862. Exchanged about 8 months later and joined the 26th in Virginia.
Would really like to find what happened to him after his transfer. Did he survive? Any biographical information would be great.
