Seeking assistance on residence/origin of 2 confederate soldiers of Hilliard's Legion- James S. Douglas, Co. A, and F.M. Douglas of 1st Battalion. Does anyone know if these are Henry Co. Alabama men? or can someone advise as to origin of the men in those units of the legion. Any help or leads appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info.
