Dear Wanda,
Glad I could help. His war record only says that he died in Virginia. He could have died in Bristol, at the Neece Hospital in Liberty, or Lynchburg. Members of the 41st died at each of these locations. I noticed that two reponses in the Msg Board identified specific cemeteries.

The book provides a great deal of information. I used over455 letters and a data base built from the war records to trace the steps and conditions the men of the regiment faced. Even though your ancestor's records consisted of only three entries, you will nonetheless be able to follow what he did and experienced between the date he enlisted and the March 6,1863 date of his death.

The book is expected to be released during June. If you wish a copy, please forward a check/money order for $75.00 to: William R. Morales. 290 Windsong Echo Drive, Henderson, NV 89012. Regards. Bill
