The Tenth Alabama Cavalry was organized in the winter, 1863-1864, to constitute part of General Philip Dale Roddey's command. Richard O. The only reference, otherwise, that I have been able to find as to where these men were recruited shows only DeKalb County, which is not on your list. DeKalb contains the Fort Payne area, and is just south of the Tenn. River.
