The two Alabama companies listed by Wayne were not formed in Fayette County (or recruited from there, either), so if these are the right Waldens they *may* not have been living in Fayette County. It is most likely that they would have joined a unit recruited in their home county, but this was not always the case...particularly with conscripts.
