This positioning of the 48th Ill. still seems like a very long way from the 19th Ala., even assuming that the 19th was on the left most position of Dea's Brigade line. That would still be five to eight regiments away from the position of the 48th Ill.!

The 19th would have had to cut across the entirety of Gibson's Brigade and across one brigade (right-most) of Hindman's Division. And not only that, but it would have had to have been moving parrallel to (or directly along) the south-southwest works past the church building.

That doesn't seem too likely.
