Alfred B. Cox was born about 1839 in Western Jefferson County, Alabama. He died in June, 1910, and is buried at the
Pickensville Lower Cemetery, Pickens County, AL
Alfred was a brother of our GGgrandmother Martha Caroline Cox. We are still researching the family history.
Parents names are George A. Cox and Matilda Denton Cox.
We are still seeking information about an older brother
James Monroe Cox, age 23 in 1860 in Pickens County.
He is buried in Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Northern Pickens County. Three younger sisters were named Mary -17, Lenora -15, Ophelia -11 in 1860.
