This is the correct reference to the capture of the flag of the 5th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Unfortunately, the last colour-bearer isn't named. I have found two different accounts of what happened to the flag.

One is that the colour-bearer, George Nutting, threw it into the woods, vowing that he would never hand it over to any damned Yankee.

The second is that it was wrestled from Captain Elijah B. Moseley by Col. George A. Cobham of the 111th Penn.

The flag was undoubtably captured by the 111th Penn. and forwarded to the War Department. It was returned to the ADAH in 1905 I believe.
