Hi Judy,it's been a while. Co.I 45th Ala. is referred to as the Randolph Volunteers in the SUPPLEMENT to the OFFICIAL RECORDS of the UNION AND CONFEDERATE ARMIES, Part II, Volume 1, Serial No. 13, p.748. However, I would trust Judy. Probably a War Department typo.
