Just received the book this week. Unlike many other "flag" books, every illustration in this book is in color, either a photograph of the flag or a full-color drawing! Includes capsule histories of many units, or stories about the origins and career of the flags. Also has a reference page for flags not included (twenty of them) with explanations for why not.

Very well done, and I highly recommend it.

Also notice that Pelican publishes similar books of flags for Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
