I have been an reenactor for a long time and as far as I know there is No 44th Ala Unit on the field.
If you are looking to join a unit as a recuit or seasoned Vet email me and I will get you in contact with several units that portay Confederate Units with no hanups as to family and the Hard Core units that take all the Honor and Fun out of Reenacting.
