Buford's Brigade
Wed Apr 11 17:12:47 2001
Anyone ever hear of Buford's Brigade. It was engaged near Montgomery on 4/12/1865, where its “Palmetto flag” was captured. Sounds like a South Carolina brigade, having a Palmetto flag. However, that doesn't make much sense considered where and when it was engaged.
