I am not aware of a reenactment unit that portrays the 44th However I know there are units of the 4th, and 48th (also part of Law's Alabama brigade along with the 15th) The 4th is based around Birmingham and the 48th around Gadsden. I believe I have contacts for both let me know if your interested.
