I have to admit, I'm a little weak on the equipment of the 5th Ala Bttn. I have seen references to other units in Archer's Brigade being armed well and with Enfield Pattern Rifles (probably 3-banded 1853's). You've encouraged me to investigate this, so I'll get back to you with whatever I find.
