Thanks for responding to my post. Someone made a mistake about the death of John B. Beams. He was my great grandfather. He was wounded in two battles in TN but did not die during that time. He was crippled in one leg and one arm. He lived to be over 100 years old. He is buried at Mooresbridge cemetery in Tuscaloosa County. I have been told that a number of the Tuskaloosa Plow Boys are buried in that cemetery. If you have a chance to go there you probably can locate the graves if you know any other of the names. I am interested in learning whatever I can about Great granddad. Did your great granddad live through the war? Thanks again for your response.
