I had seen the name on a tombstone here in Talladega's Oak Hill Cemetery. This morning I went there and found two graves. One was E.A. Cowen Corpl. Co. B Alabama Comp of Instruction CSA 17 Nov 1818-19 May 1870. The other: John Johnson Pvt. Camp of Instruction Talladega Alabama CSA 1 Dec 1838-20 Aug 1866. Is there a web site with information on this. Sounds like Basic Training to me. Wayne
