Thank You for your quick response...Jobe and Peter were his brothers...I am not sure who David L. was...but I will do further research. The info I have on Jobe is...he entered service at Cedar Springs in Co. K, 55th Ala. Regt., CSA, and continued until captured at Franklin, Tenn. Dec. 1864, and remained in prison until Aug. 1865. Wounded at Franklin, Tenn, and lost left leg near hip joint. (Pension listed in 1880 census for Cherokee Co., Ala.) Peter died during the war...I have no details other than his widow, Elza Dearing applied for peinsion 1893, and 1894. I wonder why Jobe was listed in the 19th on your files...could he have been ill, and joined again later at Cedar Springs?
Thank You,
Gwen
