Hello,

Why stop with trying to get back the Hardee battle flag of the 45th Alabama, when Iowa also has the First National battle flag of the 31st Alabama Infantry captured at Champion's Hill as well?

Iowa has about 12 CSA flags from the war - as do several other Northern states like New York (about 15), Delaware, New Jersey (6), Massachusetts (about 5), Minnesota (3), Wisconsin (5 or 6), Pennsylvania (1), Connecticut (1), Maine (2 or 3), Ohio (2 - but we are trying to get them returned), etc.

Time for all of them to go home.
