Like Alan suggested....keep an open mind to surrounding counties and even ones further away. One of my ancestors from Autauga County with many others from there which formed a company called the "Autauga Minute Men", ended up serving in another Wilcox designated company "The Bell Rifles" Co. H of the 38th AL Infantry.
