Co. K ie Kellys Rangers from Madison Co was first Co. F 3d Tn Cav and then Co.K 4th Al Cav. The Huntsville Guards became Co. F 4th AL Inf. Also late in 1864 The Jordan Light Guards, mostly teenage boys enlisted and became Co. L 4th Al Cav. There were other units from Madison Co that you might check such as Co. C 4th Al Cav. under Frank Gurley.
