When I requested form 80 I received Form 85 for pension records and Form 86 for military service records. The note said that form 80 replaced by these 2 new forms and that after Nov. 13, 2000 they would no longer accept reference requests on any previous editions of NATF 80-series(80,81,82,83, & 84), It takes long enought to get the info back from them DON'T DELAY THE PROCESS BY USING THE WRONG FORM. Just thought I should pass this along.
