Mabry was cashiered the following day. I don't recall seeing court martial papers filed with either man's 57th Alabama records. However, take a look at the adjutant's records. Here's my summary from his file:

Barton H. Thrasher. Appointed 1st Lieutenant and Adjutant February 12, 1863; formerly a member of Company “C”, 1st Alabama Infantry Regiment. Resigned August 25, 1863; Colonel Amerine endorsing it by noting, “he is inefficient – the place can be much better supplied.” Arrested and brought to Mobile, Alabama, for trial on March 8, 1864, being implicated in “substitute frauds” during his tenure as Adjutant.
