After posting it occured to me that the 56th Bn. Partisan Rangers was formed by combining the 13th Bn. Part. Ran. with the 15th Bn. Part. Ran.

Broadfoots contains a listing for a D.L. Tubbs under 13th Bn. Part. Ran., Co. C. This was probably Daniel Lee Tubbs in the 13th. My information indicates that he enlisted 6 September, 1862 in Jasper, Alabama.
