Yes Sir, ALSTON. At one point, I had three Alston relatives in the 37th (Dowdell's Volunteers): George W. (also with the 50th, Co.D) , Cicero F. and Peter B. Alston. Last record I have of Peter was Aug. 1863, he married my great great grandmother (probably while on furlough from Demopolis).The other gentlemen made it home but I haven't been able to determine what happened to Peter.
