My gg-grandfather W.D.Stephens was in the service of the Bibb County Home Guards First Class Militia in Nov of '64 after serving, I believe, in Tarrants Battery & earlier in Co. B of the 44th. He lived at Vance Station near the Scottsville area of Bibb County before & after the War. It would be interesting to know if he participated in this skirmish.
