The NBF monument was moved to the beautiful Old Live Oak cemetery, which I think would be a lovely spot for it as many tourist go through there. Now the issue is the way the monument is facing. It is facing East and the NBF supporters want it moved to face North. At one point I was willing to have it in my front yard to help Selma get past this disgrace. The area where the monument was placed has a huge Confederate monument. In the spring (back in the good ole days) we use to walk from school and place flowers
at the foot of the monument and we would sing Battle songs. NOT TODAY!!! all history has to be for just some of the people, not all of the people.
