In Old Macedonia/Sprouse Cemetery in south Lamar County, Ala, is a historic grave marker for Charles E. Carson, Co. K. 26th Ala. inf. No rank is listed. All other identified graves are either Sprouse or Wilson, believed to be related by marriage. I would like to know when he died--the marker was apparently added many years after the war. (Probably after 1910.) I am also looking for any bio information that might connect him to the other families there. Thanks.
