Ebenzer A. Curry MD appears on the 1860 census for Henry County on page 39. He is age 29 and has a wife and two children, living at Open Pond. Homer Jones may know if that's on the Florida line. Curry became 2nd Lt. of Co. "D", 39th Ala. Inf. Regt. but resigned after a bout with camp fever in June 1862. Then he becomes captain of the Florida unit you mentioned. Perhaps someone can help us identify the home location of that company.
