My records indicate that Co. H, 11th Alabama traveled west to the Brooksville, Mississippi railroad depot in order to board the Mobile and Ohio Railroad for Mobile, Alabama. I visited Brooksville a few years ago, and the old depot had been torn down just a few years before.
