Clintonville Grays organized at Clintonville,
Coffee County Jan 3, 1863 under the command
of Capt L.R. Sims, age 36 and a Minister of
Gospel; the company was organized under the
proclimation issued by the Governor dtd Dec
22, 1862; the 52 members of the company ranged
in age from 16 to 63; from what I can gather,
it was never active outside the county.

Hopefully Alan can assist with the contents
of the proclimation and a mission statement.
