As to Brooksville, I'm not sure. I'm 99.9% positive that this was never a location name in Pickens County. I *think*, though, that there is a Brooksville, Miss. There is a Brookside, Ala. I don't recall where Brookside is located. And, there is a Bridgeville in Pickens County.
