There are 758 Sam or Samuel Johnson listing on both sides. However, there is a Samuel D. listed as an assistant surgeon. He was mustered out as a Sergeant. No unit listed but National Archives box, roll and number 000818, 0013, 00001161

M.H. Oiver is listed with rank of Assistant Surgeon with the General Staff and Officers, CSA. He is also listed as Mathew H. 17th Al Inf. National Archives # 000808, 0018, 00001906

The only A.G. Greenlee I find is with Co. C 1 Miss L. Art'y, Private. There are only 14 Greenlees with a first name starting with the letter A or the initial A.
