I think that there were two.However, unless I am remembering wrong off the top of my head, Dr. Robert O. Perrin does show up as a physician in Pickens County, Alabama on the 1860 census.I "mis-spoke" off the top of my head...he was a member of Fowler's/Phelan's Battery, not Lumsden's Battery. He first joined the 5th Ala. Inf. Regt., Co. H "Warrior Guards" at a Lt..The family says that he then left Fowler' Battery, going to Noxubee County and raising the first company of Perrin's Mississippi Cavalry Battalion.Col Robert O.
