I hope you can check your microfiche for my ggrandfather John Bryan Ward Nowlin (last name may be Nowlan) who supposedly was a surgeon with the 9th Alabama Cav. I don't have any more info than that, and would appreciate anything you come across that pertains to him. He was from TN, but the 9th was organized around Tullahoma TN. I have put messages on wherever I see the 9th mentioned, hope to find someone who can help. Thanks so much. Arlene
