Dear Ken Thanks! I am sure that is my ggf's brother. His name was William Asbury Hughes. Do you know when and where he joined up? Also where did M. D. Moreland form his battalion? I have been told that William deserted and later joined Company H of the 28th Mississippi Cavalry. Also my ggf Joseph Leonard Hughes (brother of W. A. Hughes) served with Co. K 2nd Miss Inf Do you have anything on those two units? Thanks again. Your humble servant, Donald
