Does anyone know of any images/old photos that might have been taken during reunions of vets from the 9th Alabama Infantry???? Suspect such reunions may have occurred in/near the Athens, Limestone County AL area. Am PARTICULARLY interested in finding any image of Elam Carr Hamilton, from the Ripley, Limestone County area. He was a Private in Co. F, 9th Ala. Inf. who survived to be surrendered at Appomattox. He is also the great-grandpa of my wife and the great-great-grandpa of my daughter....!!!
